My Journey into Web Design
My web design journey began just over a year ago, driven by a strong desire to learn how websites are created from scratch. It all started when I stumbled upon a course called The Odin Project, which offered a structured path to mastering web development. This course became my foundation, introducing me to the world of coding. With The Odin Project, I quickly picked up HTML, and to my surprise, it felt like second nature. In just a few weeks of dedicated effort, I was efficiently writing out web pages, which fueled my passion to dive deeper.
After solidifying my HTML skills, I moved on to CSS and FlexBox. These were the tools that allowed me to turn plain text into beautiful, responsive layouts. Mastering CSS and FlexBox was like unlocking a new level of creativity, and I was able to get a solid grip on them faster than I expected. With these tools under my belt, designing websites started to feel like second nature—until I hit JavaScript.
JavaScript presented a whole new set of challenges. It wasn't as intuitive for me, and I spent months learning even the basics. The struggle was real, but so was my determination. I realized that persistence was key, and slowly but surely, I began to understand how JavaScript added dynamic functionality to the sites I was creating. Those months of effort were tough, but they taught me a valuable lesson: growth often comes from embracing challenges.
After about six months of exploring different coding languages and frameworks, I discovered WebFlow, and everything changed. WebFlow opened up a world of possibilities. It allowed me to create fully functional, visually stunning websites in a fraction of the time it took to code everything manually. Over the past four months, I’ve immersed myself in WebFlow, building a variety of websites and watching my skills improve dramatically. WebFlow has become my go-to platform, and it has transformed the way I approach web design.
